Casting Coach Session
Colin has kindly offered to help any forum members who may wish to improve their casting, and lets face it thats all of us. I am willing to organise this so to get things started I need to know who would like to attend this session. The idea will be to choose a venue where we can all fish and then take it in turns joining colin for some tuition. I can guarantee that you will improve your technique, cast more consistently and find you put much less effort into your cast to get the same distance.
So who is interested?
Once I know who is coming I will pick a venue then work out a date suitable for everyone.

Re: Casting Coach Session
Weaver,
would like to take this offer up but not in the next 2/3 weeks and only weekends except for leave over the christmas period. We have a casting instructor in our team and watching him put a 4oz weight around 250 yds with my normal set up was awesome. I would recommend anybody on here to get some casting lessons and thanks to colin for offering them.

Re: Casting Coach Session
Don't think it will be an evening session and not sure about Sundays either as I think Colin prefers to keep them free. We can sort out the times later on once we know how many want to come.

Anymore interest? Even if you think you can cast its worth brushing up your technique.

Re: Casting Coach Session
Gents,
anybody reading this then take up the offer from Colin. I fished the SAMF challenge last Mon/Tues which is the SAMF v Combined Services v Police v Fire Brigade. The night match was close with the CS only being 8 zone points behind SAMF but they ran away with it on the day match because of their distance casting. Watching those guys cast is a joy and it has made me realise that my 130 yards is not good enough.
Count me in for lots of tuition. Weekends or when I'm on leave is best for me.

Re: Casting Coach Session
Thanks kep. Once we have a few more people we can sort out the time to suit. What is the maximum number of anglers you would want colin?

Re: Casting Coach Session
Hi Richard
Can teach as many that turn up!! As normally they dont all turn up at the same time!!
As will do a one to one with everybody rather than a group session

Re: Casting Coach Session
I presume that we are looking at a weekend?
If so any saturday apart from 29th november 6th december or 13th December.
However 22nd november would be good (as Mrs Crack off is shopping!!!)
Suggest either Cogden or Burton Bradstock as its away from the madding crowds. Weather permitting from say midday and then fish after as it gets dark. I can also get my lug from you richard!!!
