Casting coaching session this summer?

Post by fishdorset on Tue Apr 14, 2009 6:23 pm

Just wondering if there's going to be a chance of some coaching this summer?
Only joined the forum in the past week, great site by the way to all those who contribute.
Missed the spring one!
Cheers fishdorset.

If colin is up for it I don't see why not. Anyone interested can say so hear and we'll see what can be arranged.

OK, at the moment Colin is suggesting September in preparation for the cod season. Alternatively if you get a chance to fish with colin at some point I'm sure he'd spare you some time. You should also try and fish with some of the more experienced anglers on here as I'm sure they can give some pointers plus you get the chance to watch how they cast. It won't be anywhere near as good as the help Colin can give, but may be helpful.

Rich is right drop me a Pm and I will see what I can do

However there is a charity comp early may at Cogden for a fellow angler that was murdered. I will be there for free advice however it would be nice for anglers to make a contribution to the fund.

Thats a very good suggestion Colin. A casting instructor may cost you £20 per hour so a generous contribution in exchange for some help would seem fair.

Sounds like most of us bouncing mad I definitely need some help only really got back into shore fishing again the last few years after many years of boat fishing.

Had some leg problems so had to cut right back on the boats so back to the shore if I can make it on that date
I will be up for a donation to get some casting help.

Can some one post some details about the comp on here so that I can hopefully make some arrangements
