Spring Casting Session

Post by Weaver on Sun Feb 22, 2009 7:15 pm

Colin has given the go ahead for the next casting session. Its going to be on Saturday 14 March at Cogden beach, but will be weather dependent. We can meet on the beach from midday onwards. We'll start with some casting tuition to iron out the bad habits and refine our techniques before the serious business of plaice fishing gets underway. Low tide is around 2pm and we can fish the tide up using our improved casting distances to search out the plaice.

If you're interested in coming along just reply to this thread. As last time we can club together to get some lunch sorted and if everyone can contribute a little towards some bait for colin that would be great.

Thats a shame you can't make it. No doubt colin will be found lurking on the beaches throughout March and April.

Not many takers yet it seems. Don't be shy, the more the merrier.

Now i'm really gutted cos i'm going to miss this one aswell!!!!!!
I'm fishing the wsf england/wales rematch on the 8th and my missus is off to cornwall on the 20th for a week so i'm deffo doing a long/allnighter on that weekend but i think i'll be pushing it to get out 3 weekends in a row.In fact i've been asked to not fish that weekend by her indoors. Sad
I'm destined to not meet you Colin.
