General info on this section
Here you will find two main threads. One will contain shore caught record fish and the other boat caught. The first table shows the biggest fish caught during the current year. The second one is for the biggest fish caught be members over any year. This one will start from 2010, although I have included kep's record stingray because it is a confirmed weight.
To put a fish forward for inclusion it must have been weighed and photographed with a witness preferred. I don't want to encourage the retention of fish unnecessarily, so photographs on the beach prior to release are preferable. Put the info in a new thread and I will add them to the record tables. I expect we will have a lot of applications as each new species comes into season, so I won't update the record tables immediately, but give it a reasonable time so that I'm not constantly updating the lists.
Now lets see who can catch the biggies
P.S. Thanks to Andy36 for suggesting this section

Can't take credit for the idea, that was andy36's. Boat section on its way.
LOL, haven't got to fill the whole thing by yourself gord! Start a new thread with your submissions and I'll add them to the record. May have to add my own bass now that you are getting all competitive Oh yeh, and the whiting!

Re: General info on this section
Steady on everyone
Seriously, if you want to submit a record fish then it needs to be in a new thread with a picture and weight and preferably a witness. I can then check them off easier and anyone who wants to better it can do so on the same thread. I don't want to go back beyond last year really, unless they are exceptional fish, and yes, UK caught fish only!
Just title your new threads with the species and shore or boat, then everyone can find them easier.
Cheers

Re: General info on this section
Ive got an 8lb 8oz cod in my profile pic,
does my 6lb 8oz tub gurnard count? it was witnessed by gord (as i crossed his line in the fight)
ive also had a 12lb 9oz cod from ferrybridge weighed on wareham club scales at purbeck angling.
This is a good idea! like it
