Thats a very nice boat. Bit of a rough area you live in Colin. Someone has had it away with the trailer wheels Laughing

Beautiful boat, I'd kill for something like that.

Bit out of reach for now I think though :-(

I'd love one too but local marina charges £50 to launch recover a small boat and then its £18 each way in and out of the Marina lock gates .... thats £86 before fuel - each time you go fishing!!! Charter fishing works out a lot cheaper! Very Happy

Ouch! There are always a load of dinghies moored on the beach at Chesil Cove, do you have to pay to leave one there?

Don't know, but I really don't fancy trying to launch and recover a boat up that shingle!

Launching would be OK - lay some round fence posts down the beach and go for it RNLI style!

I've seen them launch the boat from mid-chesil and they have an old tractor that is used. They must have a winch or something at Chesil Cove.

your be ok launching few posts like lockstock said then retrieve give worz a shout with his 4x4 and put rope on tow you back up shingle .

but was down at chesil cove last year and a chap had small boat with 25hp engine on back his family were on the beach and he was out fishing he came in close let 3 people off boat then went about 300yards out to sea then full throttle he headed towards the beach and he just beached his boat up on shingle then got out

Lyme regis was £10 about 2 years ago! (+ any parking) - 2-3 of you in a boat and its not bad. Probably a few more £££ now though
