cannonball mould

Just finished making my first cannon ball mould, it's a 3 in 1 mould, able to make 4oz,6oz and 8oz ball weight's.
I'm going to be making as many of the moulds as i can, the moulds are CNC machined out of solid Alloy, and are a very high
standard. I have seen 1 mould that will only make 1 weight, and it was £17.50, so if you wanted to do 4,6 and 8oz it would cost you £52.50 for the 3 moulds.I will be saleing this mould for £22.50 plus p&p.

They look good Chris. Just a couple of observations. Where do you insert the wire loops before putting the two halves together and I would prefer a mould that did just 10 and 12 oz weights. These seem to be the weights I most often use (or lose anyway!).

Also gona look at making a mould so i can get them cast, which should make them cheaper. Just out of interest how many people do make there own weights??

i do, but mostly namix grippers and some fixed grips for rock fishing.

Might I suggest an 8 - 10 - 12ozs ideal for wrecking.

I will have a 4 - 6 - 8 please.

so i'll get a 4-6-8 for drew and a 10-12 for rich, drew do you want a 10-12 as well? as work has gone crazy again i'll get to them next week. to answer you question rich the mould will be drilled to allow 1.6mm stainless wire.

Of course you can Drew.

I make my own; 150g gripper weights and now Namix 165g weights as just got my own mould. Also have plain lead moulds 3, 4, 5 & 6 oz ones.

Yours look great, wouldn't mind a 4, 5 & 6 oz mould if you can do one for shore fishing. I would file my own grooves for the loops.
