Minimal Efforts sort of efforts

Well after reaching the 80 session mark this weekend for '09 I managed to get to the 30 species mark with a very tastey 2lb 3oz sole from Burnham. Never thought i'd get to 25 as I only managed 16 in '08.

From Chesil I have managed......
Flounder, Poor Cod, Pouting, Shore Rockling, 5-Bearded Rockling, Whiting, Dogfish, Common Eel, Herring, Garfish, Mackerel, Common Smoothound, Bass, Starry Smoothound, Bull Huss, Ballan Wrasse, Plaice, Black Bream, Pollack, Undulate Ray, Tompot Blenny, Black Goby,

With the following caught in the Bristol Channel....
Flounder, Pouting, Whiting, Dogfish, Codling, Common Eel, Bass, Bull Huss, Thornback Ray (8lb 14oz), Conger Eel (9lb 15oz), Thick Lipped Mullet, Turbot, Baby Tope, Small Eyed Ray (8lb 10oz), Sole (2lb 3oz)

well fished mate i only had 16 species last year but this year ive hit 20 now but its only down to listing to likes you guys on tips new venues and dropping hook sizes for different species

Well done on hitting thirty. 80 sessions! I daren't add my sessions up! There's a few species on your list I wouldn't mind getting myself.

Since I last updated the list I have had Tub Gurnard, Triggerfish, Scad, Red Mullet and on Sunday a 12lb 4oz Spurdog all from Chesil. That makes it 35, woohooo!!
