Don't know if they are still about down there. Reckon an open beach may be better. Seatown or charmouth could be worth a bash. Lucy should be able to lob a bait out just about right. I know another place that will produce good bass but its a long walk and needs really rough weather. Could have a go for schoolies up at holes bay as well.

Any where in poole harbour will throw up the schoolies as well as some flounder.

Nice list there Lucy, wish I could put cod rather than codling on my list! Last december there were plenty of shore rockling and the odd 5 bearded rockling around chesil cove very close in, but if these strong winds continue who knows.

Went under ferrybridge just to experiment last weekend and saw a bass come out by the slip way portland side, looked nice size from what i could see.

yeah weve been up there on pontoon just along from bridge and saw a bass around 4lb to 5lb mark swimming about some biggys up there
