Fished Blagdon from "Green Lawns" , still a bit weedy in places . caught 7 trout + 1 tiny pike !! . Lost quite a few fish as I was having to "bully " them over the weed , The wind increased during the afternoon , making casting more difficult , all caught on jungle c**k-red holographic diawl bachs . Now for a filleting session today . I found some 2 year old trout in the freezer , cut into thin strips can these be used as bait when sea fishing ?

Sorry did`nt realise that the word for a male chicken resulted in the 2 blanks between the c and k .  Jungle ( male chicken) cape feathers have distinct "eyes" in the middle of the feather , and are used a lot in trout and salmon fly tying .
