Been hooked to my casting this year, I set my self a target to hit before this year is up and still not managed it yet but I'm nearly there looking to set a new target after this months meet. There has been a couple I couldn't do the whole day and one I missed since February but it's so good noticing the improvement already.

Target - 200 meters
Pb.      - 198.02 meters

Anyone that want to improve I highly recommend going down, top lads and all helpful.

Sam, it was good meeting you at the Weymouth cc a few months back - haven't been able to get down since though. Being a complete novice, I can only echo what Sam says - a great day and some seriously capable guys on hand to offer advice if you want them to. My own pendulum is very mediocre and I was well down on everyone else's distance, but I never felt that I was being looked down on or laughed at and the guys were brilliant.
Sam - I reckon it won't be long before you are past your goal and hitting bigger numbers - technique wise you weren't too far away from the bigger hitters IMHO.
Mart.
