I've never fished cogden before Rich, so i take it you park in the car park at the top of the hill on the main road and walk down?
Hope to catch up with you all there.

I think its still £2.00 for the day to park.

I have to take 'herself' to Poole Saturday morning so may be back in time to fish but probably not in time for casting session... Sad

Looks like a good turn out for this.

I've got the following down as definite/maybe's

JAbbott
Kep
Profish0
Arther
Joe
Tipper
Bassbandit
MartynG
and myself.
I think Ian is hoping to come along at some point as well

Should be a great session. Remember to bring spare leaders, oh and hard hats for when I cast Very Happy

OK, the weather is looking great for Saturday with northerly winds and sunshine. The sea should be flat and clear so don't forget your plaice rigs, and with colins help we may actually be able to cast far enough!!

If you haven't replied to my recent pm please check your messages.

Its not too late for anyone else to join us. Party time

Well work has well and truly scuppered my plans to gain some distance with my casting again!
Thanks again for the offer Colin and Rich for arranging it but in the words of Duncan Ballantine-I'm Out.
Next time i hope.

Just checked the forecast and the winds are still set to be northery and a little lighter than earlier forecasts and still dry. Should be excellent conditions. We've had a few drop out so anyone wanting to come is more than welcome. Should be plenty of hotdogs to go around!!

I'm just back from taking 'the boss' xmas shopping and am ashamed to say that I'm letting my "man flu" get the better of me and going to bed instead of heading for Cogden. Sad

Sorry about that and hopefully I'll meet up with you all sometime in the future. Party time
