Good luck - I'm off work tomorrow but have to do the school run at 3.15 which buggers up the day! May try the Marina for a sneaky couple of species as the sun will be out!

Well, It was a great day, the fishing was not great, no fish for me, but the casting went very well, Colin sorted my cast right out, never have I hit a bait out so far so it has done me the world of good, will it get me more fish???? who knows?
Thanks again Colin, best day I have had casting, looking forward to next time .

Re: Yep were on
Like Dizzy said, it was a great days casting tuition. Bugger all fish, but that didn't matter.
So, Colin has sorted my style out and got me casting reel down. MAkes a huge difference to the smoothness of the cast. Now I can work on getting the power built up.
Highlight of the day had to be getting the chance to cast with everyone elses gear. Good to meet up with reebo, who had a hell of a journey down from Oxford and I believe he is still fishing. Had a very nervous go with his brand new zziplex 50/50 and daiwa reel. Lovely bit of kit and casts like a dream. Not sure i can stretch to the £280 price tag, but nice to have a go.
