Now, all of us who are out of sorts due to not getting out on the sea for the bass, dont forget those lures can get you some nice pike and perch. Chub are well known for hitting the plugs and they all give a good account of themselves when tackle is scaled down.

Im going to revels for a pike session next month, Havent got any pike gear so will take everything i can thro in the water and see what happens.
Any tips for what might work best?

You'll need wire traces or those lures your using will dissapear on a take.
I haven't been pike fishing for years now, so wire traces may be a thing of the past though? lol.
If your casting a deadbait to retrieve on a up and down motion crush in the barbs on your trebles, saves the fish and makes life easier on you unhooking the fish.

Thanks for that, Yes my mate was saying i would need some wire traces so better get some. Looking forward to it, will post how i get on.

I always found a rapala fire tiger a good one for the pike.
