weymouth results

Post by Big Brad on Mon Aug 16, 2010 9:32 pm

several forum members turned up on sunday for a few hours casting. i think a good time was had by all, although one or two didnt record their distances. hopefully the first timers will return again. there is plenty of advice available if wanted and all are welcome in the future. better casting can only help your fiishing.

Nice going brad, how did you get that table up on the forum mate? Would be good to put the BDSAA table up in the future.

I didn't bother recording but had a PB of 169m. I won't record any until I go over the 183m mark. Had some very good pointers and lessons so hopefully next time, 19 Sept.

Certainly seems to be two methods of getting distance from what I've seen. Hit it as hard as you possibly can, or style and technique. I guess the trick is to get both working together.
