quad bike on chesil yes or no!

Hey guys
Im thinking of taking my quad up too chesil,too fish where its too far to walk! Am I Allowed to? As I have had a number of different answers....so any help would be great,thanx

Sounds like a great idea but i would think there would be more people doing it if you were allowed. You would probably get away with it at night a few times but i expect someone would report you eventually.

I may be proven wrong and if so can a have a lift Laughing

i think the answer is no. chesil is a site of SSSI. breeding birds ect.

Have seen one used at a match at Abbotsbury but in fairness the guy was registered disabled , Matt's advice is good, Give the warden a ring

As DBY says. There was one used at bexi a couple of years back by a disabled angler. Personally I would hate to see, and hear, quad bikes running up and down the beach. Alright to say you are using it to get to a mark but if they allowed it then it wouldn't be long before we had loads of "stunt" riders tearing up the shingle banks.

An alternative would be to see if the famers behind the bank where to allow access, but I doubt they would.
