No mate, didnt go. Had a load of stuff to do at home, including changing the wiper motor on the missus car, which , because I got the hump with it, resulted in a smashed windscreen! Shocked Shocked By the time she came back down from orbit, I`d washed up, done the hoovering and started dinner! Still got me pass for Friday night tho! Very Happy

although it was windy it wasnt a good casting wind and very few Pb's were achieved. many people were down on their previous best.

some just cast like a complete t**t, and shall remain nameless Suspect

Thanks everyone. The wind was gusting but also got 191, 193, x2 195 and a 197 along with the 207m so was chuffed to bits. Last time the wind was gusting I couldn't do 170m so I must be getting a little better with my style:D cheers

Well done Kep, nice casting. 220 next then. Wink

Managed my own p**s poor pb of 179 and shot off a bit early after getting tired of sorting out wind knots, it's alright for you bobbin users in the wind but F/S seem to suffer something rotten in a gust, i'd nearly consider getting a bobbin for casting myself if could avoid the rows of casters unpicking birdies up there. Very Happy

Thats some great casting there guys. Can anyone cast at these events or do you have to be a club member? I would be interested in how far I can actually cast, as opposed to how far I like to think I can cast.
