Dorchy casting on the 19th december.
NOT as the title says casting is more likely on the 18th this month and it is a christmas special......
it will be open and free to anyone who wants to come up and have a cast measured:D hope to see a few CBF members up there.

I wont be making this one as i cant cast straight or far enough to warrant using anything other than a b+q tape measure

Re: Dorchy casting on the 19th december.
I will be putting in alot more practice with my nemesis plus before i grace the court, prob nearby fields with my leads. I had a few chucks with it last night, hit one well and the next cast i mistimed badly, needless to say the rod nearly tore me half so im bidding on a back brace on ebay
*must try harder*

Next time im down the shingle i'll give you a shout and we can have a "self harming session" first as i wouldnt mind knowing just how much of a rod it is compared to what i used so far

Weymouth casting club venue 918/12/11)
All
We are casting in Dorchester along Maiden Castle Road again, in the
field before the one with the hump in (The same as last month). The
Competition is FREE (yes no charge) however I am collecting for the "MV
Freedom" a boat that takes the disabled out for trips and fishing from
Weymouth so hopefully I will be able to give them a nice donation on
behalf of the club.
To get to the casting field leave the Dorchester Bypass at the A354
roundabout by the football ground and go towards the town centre,
straight on at the mini roundabout (Tesco) and then first left into
Maiden Castle Road. Drive along this road for about half a mile out
into the country side and as you are approaching Maiden Castle (ancient
earthworks) there is a track on the right which you drive down about 50m
and we are in a field on the right. Alternatively just follow the
Ancient Monument signs for Maiden Castle.
The weather forecast is for aCold light North-Westerly wind and Sunshine
so hopefully we should have a really good day possibly with somePB's.
Breakfasts can be purchased from the Top O’Town or Market Cafés or
Dorchester, Email me for directions if you don’t know where this is.
