Dairy House Fishery
I had the opportunity to wander around a couple of beats on the River Frome the other day down at John Aplin's "Dairy House Fishery". It's a really beautifully managed fishery that's had some record-sized fish out of it recently. When I was down there the temperature was -4 deg C so fish were a bit thin on the ground, though we did spook a few big fish and hook a couple of smaller ones. I'd love to have a go when the weather's warmer and hook a fat Brownie or monster Grayling though - better start saving my pennies

I am bias, but I have seen all of the Frome and this beat has to be the prettiest in my eyes...
On the Piddle, the section through Hyde has it for me.
