Rod repairs, new guides!
Anyone need any repairs done?
I'm starting to do rod repairs/building part-time so if anyone needs any done at a discount rate to Chesil Forum members give me a shout.
I can get hold of all Pacific Bay items including blanks. Take a look at there catalogue.

You'll be plesently suprised at the cost of making up your own rod. Pacific Bay do some great blanks as well.
Choose your own "bling" for your own rod.
Going to be hopefully talking to my brother-in-law to get a website up and running in the near future.

Re: Rod repairs, new guides!
I've got a couple of guides that need replacing - I'll dig through my rods over the weekend and put them to one side. Trouble is I'm not down your way too often but I'm sure we can arrange something!

No problem I'm sure someone may be passing through, or when you're down next I'll try and do them overnight. As long as I've got time to order the guides in to try and match up. I'll do my best to do what I can to do the job for you.
Or even make a day trip out your way with the family to pick up or drop off.

Ive got 2 Century CME's that need new guides. One of which has had the top 6 inches snapped off!
Dont know about Guides though? I heard that Fuji stopped making them? I did buy some silver whipping but thats as far as ive managed in a year lol
And a Bass rod with a busted guide.

Your on my doorstep father, I'm sure we can meet up and I'll take a look. Has anything been done to the snapped rod?
Has it splintered done the section?
I use a lot of Pacific Bay products, Is there anything to match up on there?
http://www.fishpacbay.com/_docs/2009PacBayCatalog090220.pdf
I think they're fuji's on the CM. I used to have a CM SRE 16ft. I'll ask around for a supply for those guides.

I can get hold of some Pacific Bay samples for you to take a look at if you like father.
Re: Rod repairs, new guides!
My website is now live!
Some of the pages are still under construction and no doubt there will be little changes here and there. Please comment on what you think.

Thank you Richard.

Looks good Rich. Couple of things to keep you busy. The link to pacific bay doesn't work. It would be useful if your logos for pacific and fuji where linked to the sites as well. I'd also get some good close up images of the rod you made and any other repairs you've done on the site. Gives customers an idea of the quality of work.
I'll sort a link out to go on the menu page here shortly.
