Re: Dorchester Sunday
this is from John;
All
After a break for the summer casting at Dorchester is all go again, so we are casting along Maiden Castle Road in the field on the right at the crossroads.
To get there leave the Dorchester Bypass at the A354 roundabout by the football ground and go towards the town centre, straight on at the mini roundabout (Tesco) and then first left into Maiden Castle Road. Drive along this road for about quarter a mile out into the country side and where you come to a crossroads where a farm track crosses the main highway we will be on the right. Alternatively just follow the Ancient Monument signs for Maiden Castle and when you see a load of cars in a field on the right there we will be.
The weather forecast is for a cloudy day with a South -Westerly wind with no rain so hopefully we should have a really good day.
Breakfasts can be purchased from the Top O’Town Café in Dorchester, Email me for directions if you don’t know where these are.
John

Think you only need helmets for the left handers, or just hide behind a mate ;-)

Re: Dorchester Sunday
Lol hope you remembered to underwrap them with tape to stop them slipping or they may well end up on the other side of the rod after a few chucks

Re: Dorchester Sunday
that was probably with standard fishing reels, I expect . Apart from two other blokes he probably cast three baits the furthest I have seen aswell so fair play, top job.
