i might join in, although it'll be with a carp rod and a 50gr lead

We are casting along Maiden Castle Road in the field on the right at the crossroads. It's the field before the one we were in last month.

To get there leave the Dorchester Bypass at the A354 roundabout by the football ground and go towards the town centre, straight on at the mini roundabout (Tesco) and then first left into Maiden Castle Road. Drive along this road for about quarter a mile out into the country side and where you come to a crossroads where a farm track crosses the main highway we will be on the right. Alternatively just follow the Ancient Monument signs for Maiden Castle and when you see a load of cars in a field on the right there we will be.

The weather forecast is for sun and a North Easterly wind with no rain so hopefully we should have a really good day.

Thought that one behind us last time was pretty flat?!!!!

I think it is, one that up until recently was just dirt, rich should know! he spent some time in there looking for crackoffs last year

its not a bad field and depending upon where the court goes will not necessarily be uphill, may even be a slight doiwnhill slope, but generally flat.
not bad crackoffs though. they were going a long way, about 450yds, just 125gm lead and leader.

the DVD wasnt really aimed at casters, i dont think the 30m will appear, so Mortimer can stand by the next time i see him
