1 ounce = 28.3495231 grams
i think the confusion on these scales is it uses imperial and metric together.
the weight was 1.15 lb but still =1lb 2.4oz (1lb 2oz 6.4drams)
anyway sod all this maths sh** its still a nice dab

1 lb equals 16 oz.
As they are metric scales each 0.1 on the dispaly equals 1.6ozs.
0.15lb is therefore equal to 2.4ozs.
1.15 on the scale equates to 1lb 2.4ozs

what kind of loony tunes scales manufacturers uses an imperial measurment that is displayed in metric divisions

Agree its daft to have decimals with imperial units. Just cheap scales, so they don't add in the electronics to do the conversions for the display. What I tend to do with these smaller fish is set the units to ounces. At least then the decimal doesn't account for a large proportion of the weight.
