a little river sesh 29/05/12
well i had another day off today and fancied something abit different so headed off to a little secret river, close to home, for a bit of fly fishing. i was hoping the may flies would be around and sure enough i was not dissapointed. a great hatch and the fish were real suckers for a change. in total i mustve had between 20-30 fish. all under a pound. they do not grow big in this river, as they are all wild fish. ive never had a fish over 1lb 8oz. but they are fun to catch and real beauties. heres a few pics.....

A secret river? I'm going to tell the Ordnance Survey about this... I like my maps to be accurate, not to wander into an unmarked river when crossing a field
Nice session btw! There's been some cracking hatches just lately
