Casting Championships of WA.
Hi all, got the Western Australia casting championships tomorrow, near Perth. I`m gonna have a go, though I don`t expect to do any good with the amount of strength and weight I`ve lost because of this cancer. Probably be knackered after the first round! Weight catergories are 50g, 100g, 125g, 150g, 175g and 200g Anyway, gets me out of the house for a few hours
So, wish me luck!
Will let you know the results, and how crap I did!!!!

I beat him by 50cm, so I expect he was pleased I moved. But, as Arnie says, `I`ll be back`!ArronBarclay wrote:Should be alright without you there to put him off and beat him by 50cm

Re: Casting Championships of WA.
Well, didn't embarrass myself too much! Kept the flag flying for us Brits. My scores for the five main weights were, 179.77 for the 100g, 190.77 for the 125g, 180.13 for the 150g, 161.65 for the 175g, and 145.23 for the 200g All distances in metres. Which gave me second overall aggregate!!!!!! Conditions were very hard. Variable wind, but not strong at all. Some cloud cover at times, which was welcome in the heat. Flies done my head in, millions of the feckin` things! Event was won by a guy by the name of Scott Rolls. He put down the best cast of the day, at 209 metres. Not a huge cast, but tells you how hard the conditions were... Had a great day, so thank you to the Australian Surfcasting Federation... Absolutely knackered now!
