No it was only the once when I had massive reel slip and tried to thumb it down with too much stool and burnt it off. Now I've put the brakes in the slosh they are alot kinder and the abu s are just slow.

ah yes sorry I had a senior moment and watched a utube video of Dizzy casting a vmax2 and got confused

Yes Colin is a nice setup, took me a good half a day to get use to it, but I was only using my Penn mag2, as the ST has a wobbly handle, but yea, nice rods
