Re: jfbee on the beach
Dreadful style Seriously though, it doesn't look like one of your usual casts, but very brave for putting it up on here. Not sure I'd want to see my cack handed cast on the net.

Re: jfbee on the beach
It was nt one of my usual casts i just wanted the bait in the water. I had no choice it was on his camera and told him not too. Next time we go over to mid chesil its just me coming back, lets see his army training get his a@@ back to the pick up

Covert surveillance eh? Can't trust family. It looks odd seeing you cut the corner off the cast so much. You usually keep the rod tip so low and scare the bejesus out of me!

Re: jfbee on the beach
This cast was about 20 mins after my rods fell over and i smashed 2 rings on 1 rod and no spare beach caster, i just wanted my bait in the water, ive watched it about 15 times this morning and every time i do im picking faults in it, mostly i started the power stroke far too early as the lead had not got round far enough on the swing, this is what cut the corner off. As ive said its not my usual finesse sedate style.

If you listen to the sountrack you will be only too aware that JB was playing to the camera (that he had asked me to get out!!). That and the fact that he has been bugging me to put this on the net for a while i think that someone else may be getting wet as i'll show you covert ops!!!!!!

LOL. Always the excuses! Will definately have to get another vid of your normal casting style. Like you said, its usually much, much better that that one, but glad to see you are human as well.

Re: jfbee on the beach
Ah my view would be spend 15 minutes with me and we will tinker with it! thats all it needs.
However food for thought is that if you cast half as fast then it will go further as it gives the rod time to load everybody casts to fast (me included)
Be aware of your top hand drifting back towards you this will stop you cutting the corner. Also if you get your head round early and look up everything else will be on the right plain!
Apart from that is nearly there!!!!

Re: jfbee on the beach
I always have struggled to get my head round and its something im working on, but in my defence it was a one off bad cast (how many more times can i say that!!!!).

Re: jfbee on the beach
Oh Blimey that went down well!!!!
I have no problem with meeting up for a fishing and casting session at Cogden or Burton sometime soon I presume it will be at the weekend .
The next few months are busy in the OLver Household however if you guys can let me know a few dates then we can perhaps have a meet.
