Dogfish, but im not sure now
After many years of dogfish, I took one home lastnight for the first time, I skinned it on the beach, so its already to go.
But im not sure I want to eat it now I seen this vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyGNbe7rcHs&NR=1
might hand it to someone else

dizzy its normal. elasmobranchii sub spiecies (sharks) have a nevous system that has remained unchanged for millions of years. its highly effective and can transmit electrical impulses through root ganglia when dead these cause the muscels to contract and the fish to move.
dogfish is highly underrated, when we are out next remind me and i'll show you how to butterfy the fillets.
cut into goujons, dip them in batter and fry them. tartare sause and they are lush mate. people just don't want the hasstle of skinning them although it can be done in under 30 seconds! there are no bones either! feed the kids on them mate and save their food money for bait

I'll have to try that, sounds good. I gave a load of fillets to my mate who is a chef and he smoked them, and they were really nice. We put bite sized chunks out on the bar for people to help themselves and everyone loved them. Underrated for sure.
