Local Pike Session
I took two mates to a small local river I knew held pike (and most others dont know about it much)
The first mile is always pretty empty and it proved the same yesterday, i suspect people who eat them take them or the matchmen kill them.
Anyway got really good and between 3 of us we had 16 pike (me 6, the others had 5 each so i wasnt to be shown up on my 'own patch') and lost numerous others. Not massive but up to just over 10lb. Not bad for a river you can almost jump across!!!
Bit of a reminder how good it feels plugging again... bring on the bass!
