I had Paul and Leeum there to witness it, as Brad had pointed out it looks small for an 11lb Ray, it was very thick, and I knew it was around 10lb when I picked it up.

Wish I could of got a better pic as it kept folding its wings back...

Yep i deffinatly witnessed it another ray masterclass from dizz all i had to show for the day was several rockling including my first five beard, whiting and a couple of hard fighting dogs well done diz on a good ray

had thorns on it I think?? oh no, now I unsure, it was very rough like sand paper?

Small eyed rays defo have thorns too mate, its the colouring that makes me think its a SE...

i'd say its a thornie, nothing like the small eyes we caught last year

you could always make the picture bigger Diz

heres a couple of small eyes i had last year and they look different to your ray Diz. mind you they come from up the solent, not chesil

i know thornies come in a variety of colours but i may now back track and say it does look a lot like your small eye from last year.
