Dorchester this weekend (july)
We are in Maiden Castle Road again this month, in the field on the left next to Maiden Castle car park.
To get there leave the Dorchester Bypass at the A354 roundabout by the football ground and go towards the town centre, straight on at the mini roundabout (Tesco) and then first left into Maiden Castle Road. Drive along this road for about a mile out into the country side and as you are approaching Maiden Castle (ancient earthworks) there is a car park in front of you and we are in a field on the left adjacent to it. Alternatively just follow the Ancient Monument signs for Maiden Castle and look out for cars parked in a field.
The weather forecast is for a Westerly wind and showers.
Breakfasts can be purchased from the Top O'Town Café in Dorchester, Email me for directions if you don't know where this is.
See you all there!!!

Re: Dorchester this weekend (july)
i left early, but Andy Copping was top with 267m (292 yds), peter Thain with 265m and Mark Jakins with 262m
after that it was a long way to the next caster, some big hairy forum member with 247m (270 yds) and then Paul Rogers with 244m.
the distances then dropped to the 230m's and downwards.
crosswinds were prettyy much the order of the day. we turned the court and then it was another cross wind.
