Just a thought ! Is there any room elsewhere for a little tuition from the main court ? I myself casted at dorch years ago, great time but you can be a little nervious out with the big hitters! I myself would'nt mind paying extra for a few tips. Just wonder what anyone else has 2 say ?

Don't worry about it, i'm not even a small hitter (whilst everyone else was aiming for the two hundred metre flag and beyond i was aiming for a bucket that the farmer had left behind) and it was real enjoyable and laid back with more tips thrown at you than you know what to do with.

After the first chuck the nerves will vanish, great learning curve with a good bunch of fellas.

They might get you a sheep though Daz.

Well worth a trip to Dorch to cast on grass, (Adrian not that kind of grass).

Steve always used to cast miles to the right. after a couple of casts and a little advice he was one of the straightest casters on the court.
by attending a casting day it may surprise you what you can do and maybe even cast straighter.
