great report there fella and some great distances. sounds like you had fun steve and have got the bug. more bloody rods and reels to buy just remind me if i ever come up again not to let the cat out of the bag with ya missus

Nearly 200 mtrs is a great bench mark it's now a case of more practice and fine tuning the technique!!!

you and your bleedy big gob.. no mate i'm just going to stick to the fishing gear at the mo. and use that for casting until I can consistently max. that out (which could be a while) I don't see the point in buying more gear.

Would love to have a go again but it's the same old "dont want to make a dick of myself" Think im going to hassle mr woodcock about having a go so we might see you there.

I know what you mean but I wouldn't worry about it nearly everyone on had a f**k up of one kind or another I even saw a lead go backwards not sure how mind? but Steve Lewis just walked over and picked it up and handed it back to the unfortunate caster.

Im not too bothered about a recorded cast so im just going to use my reel's with .32 f1 regsrdless of lead size. Guessing i need brightly coloured leader, or can i use whats on my reel's "clear"?

if anyone turns up for casting and requires any leader i have a big spool and can supply 60lb yellow leader if required.

only for casting though, not taking 100yds of it for your next 6 months fishing
