New records/New to the forum

Hello critchy here,

I'm new to the forum and want to calm the ballan wrasse record, i fished sat 20th a portland mark and had a 4 pound 3oz fish a nice introduction to the forum. (See the roport from minimal effort as he was witness to the catch)

Also i caught a 2 pound 10 oz trigger last year the same day deano did, chris (minimal effort) was also there, can this count as a record too? lol, if not then i'll catch another this year bigger!

Im not so sure on these records but i think deano once told me you have to have joined the forum before you claim any records!

Looks like you need to go catch a bigger ballan and trigger... welcome to the forum!!!

i reckon the ballan will stand then because i caught it sat, and my membership was pending for activation for a couple of weeks, i actually joined a couple of weeks ago u see.

If it doesn't stand than i'll enjoy smashing some bigger one's out in the year.

should be fine then, but i tried this with mine and darrens mullet from lyme but we wernt members at the time

No you can't get the trigger,,as you weren't a member ,,,but sure the wrasse will be fine mate,,,you out friday think i'll go and smash your ballan record or maybe thursday,,,

Welcome to the forum Critchy. No probs with the ballan. Haven't seen the report yet, but I'm assuming there's a photo with it. I'll update the records shortly. Afraid the trigger record will have to wait till you catch one this year.
